Rails.
HiGlide Support Rails are manufactured from
structural grade aluminium ensuring a strong yet lightweight
system.
The rails are supplied in pairs and are available in lengths of 2m, 3m and 4.5m.
You will need at least two rails to be fixed to the ceiling of your studio, the fixed rails will support the floating rails which will support your lighting equipment.
A Joining Plate can be used to increase the length of fixed rails
or to join together a perimeter track.
The Joining Plate
cannot be used to lengthen floating rails.
Carriages.
Once your rails are in place you will need to attach carriages to slide your equipment along them.
Double Carriage.
The Double Carriage allows a floating rail to be attached to a fixed rail while
still allowing full movement between them.
Double Carriage with Brake.
The Double Carriage with Brake will stay locked in position
and should be used at least one per rail to rail connection to
ensure rails stay in their desired position.
Single Carriage.
The Single Carriage allows equipment to be attached to the
rails.
Six-Wheel Single Carriage.
For heavier items, the Six-Wheel Carriage ensures smooth
operation.
Six-Wheel Single Carriage with Brake.
A braked version of the smooth running Six-Wheel Carriage
makes sure that your lights stay in their set position.
Addalite Carriage.
This specially designed carriage can be subsequently
added to the rail without removing the rail end stops.
Top Running Cable Carriage.
This transports cables along the top of the rail rather than
hanging beneath.
