Following on from the success of the Esprit Gemini monolights, Bowens have extended the range of flash heads further with the introduction of the Esprit Gemini Digital 250 and Esprit Gemini Digital 500.

Esprit Gemini Digital 250
Weighing in at just 2.9kg the Gemini Digital 250 is smaller than its manually controlled counterpart (L)14" (W)5½" (H)5 6/8" but comes packed with extra features. Power is controlled via a single rotary dial allowing control in exact 1⁄10 stops over five stops from full to 1⁄32 power - the large and clear digital display shows the current power level as well as other important information at the touch of a button (the display can even be inverted when using ceiling rail systems). Just like the original Gemini units the digital units feature a digital camera friendly sync-voltage of just 5V.

Advanced Features:
Smart Photocell
The smart photocell on Esprit Gemini Digital units allow the photographers to set the cell to ignore pre-exposure flashes from their camera or even to learn the pre-exposure sequence to ensure perfect flash synchronisation.

Advanced Modelling
As well as Off, Proportional and 100% the Gemini digital units allow users to set their own level of modelling light from f/5 to f/10. The modelling lamps can also be set to pulse when the unit has recycled to full power as a visual indication that the flash is ready to go again.

Digital Display
Putting the digital in the Gemini digital is the red display panel providing information on a large, easy-to-read screen. Power output can be displayed in f/stops or joules and the display can be inverted, so it is easy to read when mounted on ceiling track systems.
