Lightning fast flash-durations capture split-second action!
Capturing an image of a dancer in motion in freeze-frame or multiple exposure to convey a feeling of motion can be tricky - both require super-fast flash-durations to work.
The QUADX 3000 Generator boasts flash-durations as fast as 1/7100sec so when photographer James Brown needed to catch a Russian ballet dancer in mid flow there was only one choice when it came to lighting. By using two packs together with powerful 3000Ws Quad heads for the fastest flash-duration and 60 grid reflectors with grids for a high contrast tight, directional light the perfect shots were easily achieved with out the dancer needing to keep going all day.
